By day I’m a seasoned editor, writer and strategist who is passionate about creating lifestyle content—specifically about pets, parenting and food—for a variety of brands including Pet360 Media (a division of PetSmart), FitPregnancy, Food Network and Everyday Health Inc.
I’ve worked as a client services specialist for brands including P&G, Unilever and GSK to build and execute multi-million-dollar media campaigns. I’ve also worked as a branded content writer and editor for brands including Kellogg’s, Hunt’s and Babies “R” Us to create native content experiences and e-mail campaigns.
At Food Network, I helped relaunch the brand's website on an entirely new platform and managed all of the website's homepage and recipe landing page programming. I also oversaw the programming of Food Network's In the Kitchen app.
As the managing editor of askPETMD (a mobile app and section of the popular health and wellness site petMD), I was responsible for all of the content development and execution in launching the app and rebranding the web experience. I also hired and managed a network of veterinarians who give real-time medical advice to pet parents worldwide.
Currently, I’m the managing editor of Pet360 Media’s lifestyle branch, PawCulture, a website dedicated to celebrating the bond between pets and their people. I'm responsible for content development and creation in all aspects of the site, including written content, video content and strategic initiatives for sales partnerships.
By night I am an animal rescue worker, fitness enthusiast and lover of any and all books. I’m an East Coast native who lives in Chicago with my husband, who is a chef, and my dog, a Lab mix who I try not to helicopter parent. I believe in the power of long walks, sneaker collections, strong cocktails and the Green Bay Packers.
